How do I connect two local printers to one computer?

I have an HP 1200 that I use for basic printing and envelopes, but I also have a Konica Minolta Magicolor 2490 MF for color printing and scanning – how to I hook them both up as LOCAL printers, don’t want them accessed on the network. Any help is appreciated.

Plug them both in. Then you can access both.

as long as they are USB printers..I really don’t see what the problem is…

If they are USB, and have 2 usb ports available, just plug them both in. If you don’t ahve 2 usb ports avaialbe, you can buy a USB splitter.

If the printers are SCSI, you can buy an A/B switch box. When you want to swap from one printer to the other, just flip the A/B switch.

Just plug them both in to different USB ports.

If you don’t take deliberate steps to share them then they will not be available on the network.
