it’s a great cover. can’t really say if it’s “better” than the original, because it’s just different, they can’t really be compared. but it’s a good take on it – i love it. but saying one is better than the other is pointless, it’s like arguing strawberry ice cream is better than chocolate.
regardless of who’s singing it, kate bush wrote the song. so we all agree she’s an awesome songwriter. some people prefer the sound of molko’s voice to hers, others do not.
No need to be bashful, some people might not be aware, was just making it known.

I’m with MrGooseyGoose on this one. Brian Molko’s voice fits better to this song. Kate Bush’s version is good but I think Placebos version is even better.

Sorry to all of the Kate Bush fans, to each there own. Kate’s original version is of course great, but my personal favourite has to be placebo, the voice has a more appropriate feeling towards the song. Please remember this is my opinion I’m not saying the original is rubbish
There are artists and songs that should not EVER be tampered with and Kate Bush is one of them,The original 1985 could not ever be surpassed..ok good cover but please write your own songs

I love the lyrics and the music as well. It´s pretty sad, but the thing is.. I´ve listened to it all day this week, like 60 times every day and still it´s an awesome song!!

the song is absolute beauty but the bass effect is something not from this world!!!! as long as i listen threw Headphones it’s nice but when i unplug it’s a hell of a bass ….seriously maybe it’s only my comp but it’s so freaking cool !!!!

I like Kate Bush’s version, because i guess i’m an original type of person, i like originality, this version is good, but doesn’t cut it for me..However, i don’t like her dancing either lol i think it’s a bit loopy. But Her vocals make up for it, she has an amazing voice and talent, she wouldn’t be huge if she wasn’t.
