    @ericcox2

    Tandy had Personal color computers in 1964? I don’t think so.

  2. Punkstermom says:

    Affordable color computer is what apple invented.

  3. RJLeffmann says:

    ericcox2,

    No, the Apple II had color 3 years before the Tandy CoCo.

  4. ericcox2 says:

    Uhhhm, hey Steve?

    Tandy Color Computer had color 13 years before you.

    Thought you should know.

    LOL! yeah, the Håkan Lans battle continues… It’s crazy. But I think Apple actually paid their licenses in the beginning.

  6. janus69tube says:

    But what about Håkan Lans then?

  7. lAuthenticl says:

    Does anyone know the mechanics of what Woz is talking about? Is he saying that he physically manipulated the light waves coming out of the monitor or what?

    Its the same reason why people who are normally not funny are able to be amazing comedians i the morning when they first wake up and usually why people laugh alot when they first wake up, when the EGO is asleep we begin to use our own natural and spontaneous intuitions creatively which is what ends up making futuristic changes, this is also very important in understanding “WHat” light really is considering the AM-FM modulations created by this information in a circle as he calls it

    Well Job’s didn’t leave, he was pushed out by the CEO of Apple, John Sculley, for being too strict and demanding too much of his employees. After Jobs was pushed out, Gates saw the opportunity to become big-dog in the computing world, and released Windows 3, basically a copy of Job’s original OS. At this point, Jobs was on to better things at his start-up company, Nextstep, and couldn’t really do anything about Gate’s theft.

  11. Truthiness231 says:

    @baconboy7227 Had his management style really been no-bullshit, he wouldn’t have lost his work to the “other d-bag” (Bill =P). And then he left for how many years? ^.^

    But yeah he was one hell of a manager though. I’ll concur with that.

  12. Truthiness231 says:

    ^.^ That’s the good Steve. Fuck the other one; the corporate douche…

    Cool story

    @RyanR242

    Being a billionaire is cool and all, but it must be incredibly rewarding for Woz to know that he’s changed all of humanity for the better until the end of our species. Now that is pretty exciting. A better legacy than any king or politician.

  15. baconboy7227 says:

    Well Steve’s douchiness has advanced Apple, along with Woz’s genius. Jobs described Apple, from day 1, as being a place we’re negative traits were kept in check by the team, resulting in a positive outcome. As a side note, though, I do like Job’s no-bullshit management style. It keeps everyone focused and has delivered great products.

  16. Delus1on77 says:

    steve jobs = douche, steve woz = genius

  17. Chris12163 says:

    Gotta thank Steve Wozniak for being part of Apple

    For geeks, but for business people Jobs>Woz. As baconboy7227 comments above if the two hadn’t been together personal computing today would be a very different thing, probably not for the better.

  21. callwithcurrentconti says:

    Ah, the better Steve is a Feynman.

  22. azandu says:

    The King

  23. 2spittingcobras says:

    @originalrecipes

    lol.

  24. originalrecipes says:

    Wrong. If it weren’t for Microsoft computing would be in the dark ages. Bill Gates and Ballmer were true pioneers. Look at it today. 98% market share for Windows!

  25. baconboy7227 says:

    If one Steve didn’t have the other Steve, computing today would have been vastly different. Here’s to teamwork.
