Hey guys, could you help me out ? I love to run and enjoy the sparkly, clean, cleansed feeling I get after my runs, but after about a week or so of running every day, it’s as if my brain gets used to that great feeling and I stop getting it. It’s as if I build up a tolerance to it. Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do to ALWAYS feel amazing after my runs? Thanks!!
This is a great video; very, very nice job with it. I am also a distance runner and find this video very inspirational. Not to mention the music is great also, it really sets the mood.
I was just told that Prefontaine’s coach said he never had a kick. I also remember hearing that. So I guess this is an exception. Just watch :022 to
about :39. He just leaves the others in the dust!
Ron Clarke was great. Mills did not beat him – the altittude of Mexico City did. Clarke had a raft of world records but the Olympic gold medal eluded him.
can somebody tell me the name of the orchestrial music in the video, ive heard it before in some movie but id like to have it. and running is the fundemental sport of all sports its just that x-country takes it to its max making it the ultimate sport.
Duronski, I inadvertently gave you a thumbs down. I chuckled and meant to give thumbs up. I agree. Great video. I too am about to drag my butt out for a wee slog.

It’s from the sound track “Rudy”
i’m proud to be a distance runner.
whats the name of the background music?
distance running is just several minutes of pain and for some reason i still love doing it
El Guerrouj – what an outstanding talent and to think that his mile and 1500 world records are still standing since the 1990s.
Exceptional.

Pre was the best there ever was at leading from the start and winning. His attitude was hey you wanna win a gotta catch and beat me from behind.
Prefontaine, God what a kick he had!!!
Seb was the greatest of all time. I experienced his kick first hand.
Ron Clarke was great. Mills did not beat him – the altittude of Mexico City did. Clarke had a raft of world records but the Olympic gold medal eluded him.
The music is the theme from “Rudy”
They were at a sprint, and Mills came flying past…god he must have been moving!
